I woke up the next morning, feeling delightfully pleased. When I opened my eyes from a deep sleep, I noticed Jamal was still asleep. The sunshine was bright outside as I smiled once I stretched my arms in my bedroom, wearing Jamal’s long white t-shirt with nothing underneath. We made love until we were both briefly out of breath. I decided to take a shower and brushed my teeth before I surprise Jamal with breakfast in bed.

Close to thirty minutes later, breakfast was ready to be served. When I opened my bedroom door, I saw Jamal was wide awake smiling from ear to ear as I carry a breakfast tray filled with egg, bacon, blueberry pancakes, and a fresh cup of coffee.

“Damn girl, you trying to win me over?” He laughed.

“Yes, and I hope it’s working.”

“Wow. I could get used to this.”

We both laughed, and I felt a warm feeling suddenly came over me. I looked forward to the time we spent together, and I was starting to see a different side of Jamal, and I loved every moment.

I was getting comfortable around Jamal, but I also knew this couldn’t be a good thing, either.

“It’s just a little something I made for you.” I chuckled and presented Jamal with his tray full of breakfast.

“Thanks, you didn’t have to do this.” Jamal couldn’t stop smiling.

“I know every man loves to eat.”

“You’re right. You’re always on point so far, you know how to treat a man and to keep a smile on my face.”

“Once you are done eating, make sure you put your dirty dishes in the sink. I have clean towels, and Ivory soap for you in the bathroom when you’re ready to get dressed.” I mention with a wink.

Twenty minutes later, Jamal stepped out of the shower, only wearing a towel wrapped around his waist. Looking into his handsome face and he stared so intently at me. I felt like I had butterflies in my stomach. I was trying to fight it, I was falling for Jamal within a short matter of time, even though he was engaged to Myra. It was too late, as much as I was trying to fight it.

His broad shoulders were relaxed. “I can’t wait another second without holding and kissing you.” He held out his hand. “You know I don’t want to leave you, but we better hurry up since I knew you have to be off to work soon,” Jamal rushed me.

“I don’t have to clock in, remember?” I chuckled.

“Hand me another towel, please?”

I watched Jamal grab the towel to dry off his skin; I smirked as I watched in enjoyment his manly barrel-chest.

“Do you like what you see?” He asked as he placed the towel around his waist.

“Mmm, it’s a damn shame you’re so fine, and you have a girl at home that don’t appreciate you.” I smiled while shaking my head.

“Is that right?”

I moved closer to Jamal. “You know damn well if we were a couple, you damn sure wouldn’t be looking for any other woman for sex.
